Toyota Yaris family introduce new member in Yaris family (Toyota Yaris Cross )  introduction of an all-new – the Yaris Cross. 3rd member after the hatchback and sedan is compact crossover in the same league as  T-Cross,  Nissan Juke, and Ford Puma  in  European market. Position below the C-HR, the Yaris Cross  share many parts and equipment with its sibling.

Toyota’s TNGA-B platform, the Yaris Cross is 4,180mm length, 1765mm wide and  height of 1560mm. It  same wheelbase as the Yaris supermini though, at 2560mm. In term of appearance, the Yaris Cross takes its cues from other Toyota SUVs. The fascia has two-tier grille with Toyota logo sitting on top of the sleeker mesh grille with high-placed headlamp, there are vertical DRLs while the also fog lamps are on with the lower grille. , Yaris Cross get squared-off wheel arches and blacked-out floating roof design. In back side, the tail lamp design get a sharp LED unit with blacked-out internals. The compact SUV on 18-inch wheels.

On inside, the cabin gets a large floating touchscreen display and a digital instrument cluster. And the centre console  more calibrated for an SUV as well. In back, the split seat add practicality to the cargo space which has adjustable height and split-space feature. The Yaris Cross is aimed  hatchback buyers who want the  of a high-riding vehicle.

Yaris Cross is currently offer with 115bhp 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain which  also offered  the hatchback. It also available with an AWD design, which has a CO2 emission of mere 100g/km. There might be newer powertrain in the pipeline, include a diesel, but that will be for select international market.

Toyota Yaris Cross launch in India, we expect it cut  the sub-4 meter. thats why it will be Toyota take   like of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, , Mahindra XUV300 Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon.
