For Security Purpose you lock your profile and make your profile more secure and reliable and if you lock your profile your content, post and your profile information just show your friends. Your information and most not show any out sider.
First you open your Facebook profile then you see the option button on top-right side of your front page then click it. then click Settings & Privacy button after that click on Settings button know go to the Audience & Visibility section and set all option only friends.

Then go to the Profile Locking option that show in top off this section know click the button and your profile is locked.
